I have 3 of these cutting boards in total, probably roughly 18"x24", and a 1" thick. I sanded them down (a feat in and of itself) and finished up the wood with this product. My cutting board looks gorgeous and brand new! I love them so much now that I will probably keep them for heavy-duty cutting after the kitchen gets remodeled. I've only been able to do one cutting board so far due to my time constraints, but I still have plenty of this oil left to do the other two. You’re wasting your time using this on "Finished" wood. A better option would be Murphy's Oil Soap. This is more for raw wood-like cutting boards and seasoning cast iron cookware.

No problems with the oil inbox when I opened it. Used on the acacia plank wood countertop and it did exactly what it is intended for. No complaints here. I am sure this bottle will last a while, but when I am out I will be purchasing again.

Just to be clear: a food slicer shouldn't be *cleaned* with oil (it won't kill bacteria), but the oil can protect cleaned blades from oxidizing.
