How to use essential oils for allergies

Now you know which essential oils can help you with your respiratory congestion and irritation. Here are some ways that essential oils can be used effectively to treat your allergies.

You must perform workouts or yoga to keep your metabolism healthy for the day.

Doing meditation and breathing deeply for even twenty minutes can provide great health benefits for internal organs. Therefore, it will help keep allergies away naturally. Inhaling fresh air can help regulate your body system in a better way. If you don’t like heavy workouts, buy yourself a Gaiam yoga mat, put it in your terrace where the fresh air abounds. Sit on it and breath in and out only for minutes to increase natural immunity to figure off allergies.

Diffusion

A plug-in diffuser or an oil burner can be particularly helpful here. Just add a few drops of oil or a blend in the burner. Problems revolving around respiratory conditions and seasonal allergies can be treated effectively with this.

Direct inhalation

This is another easy method to apply essential oils. Put a drop or two on to a piece of cloth and then inhale. You can also inhale directly from a bottle.

Another method to treat seasonal allergies would be to add a few drops of essential oils to a bowl of hot water. Then all you need to do is breathe in the vapours if you are looking for nighttime relief then add 4-5 drops of the essential oil to your pillow.

Topical application

People that are suffering from allergy symptoms revolving around their skin such as hives, rashes and itching, can apply the oil to their skin. Most of these oils should first be mixed with a carrier oil. Carrier oils include jojoba, sweet almond oil or coconut oil.

A ratio of 1 tablespoon of carrier oil with 2 drops of essential oil is what works best.

Include more dietary and organic teas in your daily routine to keep the congestion at bay, for instance, two cups of chamomile tea can help clear up the lungs. In the same way, there are certains health benefits of IASO tea that can detoxify your internal system with its minerals and antioxidants.
